Executive Assessment Level

Executive Assessment Level. EAL is a first-stage examination conducted by FICPA Professionals Council for students on the streams opted.  Executive Assessment Level focuses on imparting Technology Skills, Related Software Skills, and Working level knowledge on the Professional Stream opted by the Students. 

This examination is conducted a year thrice, usually in April, August, and December.  This examination is conducted in Prometric Centers in various locations in India.  In addition, the Executive Assessment Level test is also shown in colleges on specific requests provided the respective institute meets the examination criteria and has the necessary infrastructure.

Students undergoing the Executive Assessment Level program will have to have at least five months of Self Study or avail coaching conducted by various Tuition Centers or Colleges.  Students are suggested to undergo coaching if required by the Authorized Training Partners (ATP) empaneled with FICPA Professionals Council.

Eligibility Criteria

Students pursuing Graduation Degree in Commerce conducted by any Colleges affiliated to University or Deemed University and Students who have passed Professional Eligibility Test after their 2nd PUC or 12th Grade are eligible to enroll for Executive Assessment Level program for any one or more stream of their choice.  Study material and online support will start as soon as the registration process is completed.

Students pursuing Science Graduation Degree can also enroll for the Course provided they have passed the intermediate with at least 60% score and passed Professional Eligibility Test after their 2nd PUC or 12th Grade.

How to Register?

Registration Procedure

FICPA Professionals Council, which conducts the Indian CPA course, has developed a Students portal to guide the aspirants to register for the course.  Students can register for Executive Assessment Level by logging into portal.indiancpa.org and selecting the student registration button.  The registration process in the portal is self-explanatory, and the registration will be completed on payment of registration fees online after filling all the necessary fields. 

Also, students can take up necessary help from Authorized Training Partners of Indian CPA to complete their registration.

How long to study?

Duration of Study

The minimum duration of the Executive Assessment Level course for a person in any one stream will be about 180 hours or four months divided reasonably towards Technical skills; Software skills, and Professional Knowledge skills.  The Indian CPA course intends to bridge the gap of the requirement of Professionals by Industries and availability; it is suggested to students to take up specialization in any two streams, which can be covered with a minimum duration of about 300 hours or six months.

Students registered for EAL are provided with access to Student Portal, wherein a host of services such as topic wise MCQs are available for practice and Forums and Network, etc.  Also, students are supplied with a Study Manual subject-wise for self-study and preparation for the EAL program.

Examination Pattern

Passing the Executive Assessment Level of the Indian CPA course is moderately challenging for any student.  It requires the student to do hard work and practice the Multiple Choice Questions exercise given chapter-wise in the student portal every day to internalize the concepts thoroughly.  Students can also prepare for the Executive Assessment Level program by undergoing either Classroom or Online coaching conducted by any of the Authorized Training Partners of FICPA.

The FICPA Professionals Council does not conduct Classroom training to students registered for the course in any stream.  However, for the benefit of the students, and online training on Professional Theory part in EAL of all streams will be conducted by the FICPA Professionals Council shortly.
